Daily Lines from Movies

Today's Lines from Movies:

Movie: Bad Boys(1983)

Mick O'Brien:
I killed your little brother, but he's dead because you didn't stick up for him.

Movie: The United States of Leland(2003)

Leland:
And that's when I figured out that tears couldn't make somebody who was dead alive again. There's another thing to learn about tears, they can't make somebody who doesn't love you any more love you again. It's the same with prayers. I wonder how much of their lives people waste crying and praying to God. If you ask me, the devil makes more sense than God does. I can at least see why people would want him around. It's good to have somebody to blame for the bad stuff they do. Maybe God's there because people get scared of all the bad stuff they do. They figure that God and the Devil are always playing this game of tug-of-war game with them. And they never know which side they're gonna wind up on. I guess that tug-of-war idea explains how sometimes, even when people try to do something good, it still turns out bad.

Movie: The Painted Veil(2006)

Kitty Fane:
[about Wan Xi] I had no idea you had so much affection for her.

Waddington:
What makes you think I do?

Kitty Fane:
I can see it in your eyes. I wonder what she sees in you.

Waddington:
[In Chinese] What do you see in me?

Wan Xi:
[to Waddington] You're a good man.

Waddington:
She says I'm a good man.

Kitty Fane:
As if a women has ever loved a man for his virtue.

Movie: Keeping the Faith(2000)

Rabbi Jacob "Jake" Schram:
Whoa! Listen to what you're saying. You're telling me that I was supposed to be sensitive to the possibility that a Catholic priest might have a crush on my secret girlfriend?

Movie: Backdraft(1991)

Lt. Steven McCaffrey:
You go. We go.

Movie: Under Siege 2: Dark Territory(1995)

Penn:
Not mace, sweetheart. Pepper spray. Sold to civilians.

[snatches canister from Sarah]

Penn:
But once you get used to it...

[sprays some into his mouth]

Penn:
...it just clears the sinuses!

Movie: X-Men(2000)

Wolverine:
You going to tell me to stay away from your girl?

Cyclops:
If I had to do that, she wouldn't be my girl.

Wolverine:
Well, then I guess you've got nothing to worry about, do ya, Cyclops?

Cyclops:
It must burn you up that a boy like me saved your life, huh? Gotta be careful. I might not be there next time. Oh, and Logan - stay away from my girl.

Movie: Unforgiven(1992)

[Little Bill tells the real story of English Bob's gunfight]

Little Bill Daggett:
First off, Corky Corcoran never carried two guns. Though he should have.

W.W. Beauchamp:
But... no, no, he was called "Two-Gun Corcoran."

Little Bill Daggett:
Well, a lot of people did call him "Two-Gun" but it wasn't on account of him sporting two pistols. It was because he had a dick that was so big it was longer than the barrel of that Walker Colt he carried.

Movie: Jack Smith and the Destruction of Atlantis(2006)

Andy Warhol:
[speaking of Jack Smith] The only person I would ever copy. He's just so terrific, and I think he makes the best movies.

Movie: Bachelor Party(1984)

She/Tim:
By the way, my name is Tim and I'm always available. I also do engine work on BMW's.

Movie: X-Men: The Last Stand(2006)

[last lines]

Prof. Charles Xavier:
[after credits] Hello, Moira.

Dr. Moira MacTaggart:
Charles?
